The Analytics – Manager ensures timely delivery of data, analytics and strategic consulting to support the client’s database marketing initiatives. S/he provides direction and manages the work processes and output of a team of database marketing analysts. Evaluates client needs for quantitative analysis. Participates in creating and articulating relevant solutions for clients and in developing methods or processes for implementation. Leverages knowledge of analytical tools and techniques to provide suggestions or guidance to teams under their oversight.

You’d need to be Awesome at:

  • Managing project tasks, timelines and deliverables
  • Managing and mentoring junior analysts, contributing to their technical and career development
  • Developing analytical solutions to client business problems
  • --May analyse and pull data or implement analytical solutions
  • With the following techniques:
    • Predictive statistical models
    • Customer profiling
    • Segmentation Analysis
    • Survey Design and Analysis
    • Data Analysis and Mining
    • Break-Even Analysis
  • Presenting ideas and findings to clients 
  • Participating in the sales process through solution development and responses to RFPs 
  • Figuring our tools and processes for analytics
  • Anticipating project risk and constraints and proactively working on solutions to address the risk/constraints;
  • Building and leading teams to complete complex analytical projects end to end 
  • Demonstrating thought leadership and developing best practices
  • Owning and running client challenges

If you are:

  • Someone who has 6+ years of experience in the analytics industry
  • Able to breakdown complex analytical techniques and results to non technical audiences
  • Ready to go head on with the best in the industry on modelling and applied statistical techniques like regression, ANOVA, cluster analysis, factor analysis, time series forecasting, experimental and design, etc. to solve business problems 
  • Adept at discovering hidden insights or complex patterns through advanced multi-variate data mining techniques on un-structured business problems 
  • Someone who enjoys working with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Have a self-starting orientation within a fast-paced environment with an intense desire/drive to “make things happen
